Farewell Message – Juan Luis Ibarra Collado
- In April, Juan Luis Ibarra handed over the leadership of Agrozzi’s International Business Division to Andrés Arancibia. Here are his key messages:
“After a long journey since I joined Carozzi in 1985, I have decided to close a professional chapter that has been deeply meaningful to me. Throughout these years, I had the opportunity to take on many challenges — from control and finance, through international expansion, sourcing and logistics projects, to leading the Agro-Industrial Division (Agrozzi) and the Exports Division — all with the purpose of bringing the Chilean countryside to the world.
These nearly 40 years of personal and professional growth would not have been possible without the commitment and support of the teams I had the privilege to lead, nor without the transformation of our company, always guided by strong leadership and clear convictions, in an environment of increasingly demanding consumers and markets.
Today I step down with a deep sense of gratitude and satisfaction for the work accomplished. I want to sincerely thank everyone for the closeness, the unwavering support, and the collaboration that have defined the way we work — convinced that this is the model that enables virtuous and sustainable growth.
The challenge of leading the International Business Division will now be taken on by Andrés Arancibia. I am fully confident that, under his leadership, the company will continue to successfully meet future challenges and project itself strongly into the long term.”

Taking on the leadership of Agrozzi’s International Business Division is both an honor and a great responsibility. I receive this challenge with deep appreciation for the path already traveled and for Juan Luis’s leadership, whose work has been key to the development of our agro-industrial platform and to consolidating our international presence.
My commitment is to keep moving forward in the same direction, while also recognizing that we are going through a period in which market and geopolitical conditions, high inventory levels, and consumption trends are making it necessary to redouble our efforts in terms of costs and efficiencies, in order to remain competitive both as Chile-origin and as a company. Our focus, therefore, will be on seeking those opportunities for improvement — maximizing efficiencies and yields in the field and in our plants — which, together with our commercial platform, will allow us to deliver greater value to our strategic partners and customers.
I would also like to thank the entire Agrozzi team for the effort, commitment, and passion with which each person carries out their role; our farmers, without whose work none of what we do would be possible; and especially our partners and customers, who place their trust in us year after year. We will continue working to strengthen those relationships and to find new ways to add value to their needs.
