The Pouches and Sauces & Dressings categories mark an important evolution in our portfolio: the shift from commodity toward higher value-added solutions. What we aim to bring to these categories rests not only on format or formulation, but on something more fundamental: the ability to support the customer along the entire chain, from the field to the pouch or sachet that reaches the end consumer.

From seed to finished product

Behind every pouch and every Food Service sachet lies a chain that begins long before the packaging line. The raw material enters our plants, where we transform it into tomato pastes, purees, single-strength purees, and concentrated juices. From there, we feed the packaging lines for pouches, sachets, doypacks, and industrial formats, which take their final shape as private-brand products, Private Label solutions, and co-manufacturing developments for customers in more than 50 countries.

Advancing in this vertical integration allows us to improve traceability from the orchard, maintain batch-to-batch consistency, provide greater supply security in the face of climate variability, and respond with agility when a customer brings us a custom development. It is a work we continue to refine season after season.

Pouches: a flexible platform with our own raw material

In Pouches, our focus is on a flexible platform geared toward baby food, snacks, organic products, functional foods, and other custom developments — with formats ranging from 70 g to 120 g and presentations that include individual displays, variety packs, and bulk formats. A large share of the single-strength purees that fill each pouch comes from our own industrial lines, supplied by the harvest contracted with our farmers. This gives us room to fine-tune texture, reduce sugars, and care for the sensory profile.

Sauces & Dressings: a chain at the service of professional operations

In the Sauces & Dressings category, our portfolio aims to meet the demands of professional operations: portion control, back-of-house efficiency, and batch-to-batch standardization. The offering includes sachets from 6 to 10 g, 200 g sachets and doypacks, 800 g doypacks, and industrial pouches of up to 4.5 kg, along with a full range that spans pizza sauce, tomato sauce, ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard, BBQ sauce, toppings, dressings, and nectars, as well as custom sauces and developments for strategic customers.

Behind every ketchup sachet or every pizza sauce there is a tomato grown by a farmer, received at our plants, processed into paste, and then transformed into the final product that reaches the consumer’s table. It is a chain we control from start to finish, which allows us to safeguard quality, ensure traceability, and respond with agility to each customer’s requirements.

This model also gives us the flexibility to adapt to different business formats. We work with restaurant chains, institutional operators, hotels, casinos, and Private Label customers — each with their own requirements in recipe, format, and volume. Our technical team supports the customer from formula development through plant start-up, seeking solutions that fit their operation and their brand proposition.

We know that in Food Service, consistency is key: the same flavor, the same texture, and the same color, every day of the year. That is why we continue to invest in processes, in quality control, and in our bond with farmers — because that stability begins long before the plant: it begins in the field and in the rigorous selection of ingredients.
