Birth of Agrozzi
Foundation of AGROZZI: Carozzi’s agro-industrial division is created to export of tomato paste.
Inauguration of the tomato plant
Agrozzi started in the retail sauces business for Empresas Carozzi with pomarola, trattoria, toscana and san remo, as well as for the main restaurant chains worldwide.
Inauguration of the puree plant
We started to produce fruit and vegetable purees, becoming the world’s largest producer of mediterranean pulps.
Inauguration of the Food service plant
Start of the food service business as a response to the growing worldwide demand for processed products, supplying different marketing channels with a new offer, highlighting tomato sauces, ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard, purees, juices, among others.
Inauguration of juice concentrate plant
Agrozzi opens its way to the world’s main markets with higher value-added products.
New plants food service and pouches
Modern facilities allow us to reach production levels of up to 50 thousand tons per year.
Expansion of the juice plant
The expansion of the juice plant capacity allowed us to reach production levels of up to 2000 tons per day.
Expansion of the Pouch plant
We doubled our capacity in Pouches manufacturing
Improvements of the wastewater treatment plant
Improvements in the treatment of our wastewater treatment plant, helping us combat water scarcity in Chile.
