This strategy is based on a preventive approach, including critical control measures, reinforced security protocols, and constant monitoring of potential vulnerabilities in our production chain.

Key aspects of our Food Defense strategy include:
Policies and Procedures: We have policies and procedures detailing security measures against potential risks from deliberate actions.
Multidisciplinary Food Defense Team: The Food Defense team is multidisciplinary, responsible for developing, reviewing, and updating the Food Defense plan for our processes and infrastructure, evaluating vulnerabilities and threats affecting production sites, and ensuring compliance.
Control of Vulnerable Areas: Special control measures have been implemented in identified risk areas, which are under constant monitoring.
Access Control: Restricted access is enforced for facilities, production areas, and storage, including access control for employees, contractors, and visitors, with proper identification required at all times.
Control of External Equipment, Storage Tanks, and CIP Systems: These are securely closed with restricted access, and inlet pipelines are sealed.
Personnel: We have a training program on Food Defense, encouraging continuous area monitoring and immediate reporting of any suspicious activity.
Sanitary Authorization for Operation: Our production plants are authorized by the Maule Regional Health Service in Chile and registered with the FDA-USA under the Bioterrorism Protection Program, registration number 10790438784.
Improvement Program: A continuous review program for the Food Defense Plan is in place, including reviews, intrusion exercises, internal and external audits, with all results analyzed to implement improvements to the Food Defense Plan.
