As is now tradition, Carozzi kicked off the 2025–2026 Tomato Season with a gathering that brought together nearly 200 growers from the Maule Region.
During the event held at Agrozzi, we presented awards to 18 growers in recognition of their strong commitment, collaborative work, long‑standing trajectory, and productive performance in the crop—individuals the company considers strategic partners.

Throughout the day, attendees analyzed joint opportunities for the tomato crop to advance sustainable agriculture. Key presentations included:
These experts shared techniques and new technologies aimed at digitizing agricultural management, optimizing resources, reducing losses, and improving traceability. These advancements enable more precise decision‑making, strengthening the supply chain and highlighting progress within the agricultural sector.

“Every year we meet with our growers to review upcoming challenges and jointly envision a more sustainable and competitive agriculture. This is yet another example of our commitment and our desire to bring Chilean agriculture to the world.”
Juan Luis Ibarra, General Manager of the Agroindustrial Division, Carozzi – Agrozzi.
The event also featured the “Expo Carozzi Agro‑Conexión”, a space designed for suppliers of agricultural inputs and services to share information, advice, and contacts with growers—strengthening their businesses and expanding opportunities.
Participating companies and institutions included: WiseConn, Agrosystems, Neoriente Ingeniería, Copeval, Blass, Equipos de Riego, and Sargent Agrícola.
“Carozzi has always supported us with training and innovations to improve our work. This recognition is very important to me and makes me feel proud to be part of Carozzi”, said Darlin Guissel, the grower who received the Espíritu Carozzi award.
Carozzi works with more than 3,000 growers, representing over 66,000 planted hectares of fruits, vegetables, grains, and cereals, among others, across Chile’s south‑central region.
Through Agrozzi—our agro‑industrial arm—we process 800,000 tons of Mediterranean fruits and vegetables, supplying more than 50 countries across five continents. Additionally, we contract over 30% of Chile’s annual tomato production, transforming it into tomato pastes, sauces, ketchup, pizza sauces, and more.

Under our “Crecer Juntos” (Grow Together) program, we maintain a strategic alliance with growers, strengthening both the contract‑farming model and the price‑discovery model, which provides greater transparency in commercialization and more certainty when defining planting plans.
In tomato cultivation, Carozzi—together with our agro‑industrial operations—supports growers through the implementation, training, and financing of technified irrigation, which is 95% more efficient than traditional irrigation.
Today, nearly 90% of the more than 4,000 hectares of tomato crops operate under technified irrigation, increasing yields from 65 to 95 tons per hectare on average, significantly boosting productivity and competitiveness.
We are currently working on promoting and automating fertigation, implementing new tools and technologies that will allow Chilean agriculture to project itself to the world in a more competitive and sustainable way.
We are experts in offering premium quality raw materials for the food industry.
